This heater is amazing! I bought it to be able to make a baby brine shrimp hatchery in a water bottle and it fits perfectly through the mouth of the bottle without an issue. It is fairly powerful, as it keeps the water even in a 1 gallon tank nice and warm. No problems whatsoever with it. My only small complaint is that a power adapter is not included, if you plan on plugging it in to a wall, and that the cord is relatively short.On a separate note, I can see how this would be a perfect office accessory in case you wanted to keep your cup of coffee warm!

No temp control and really no accuracy but it keeps my brine shrimp hatchery warm in about 1.5 liters. I would say nothing larger than that. Good product for my application.

I use this for a brine shrimp hatchery. The goal is too keep the temperature between 80F-82F. At first it seems to manage this pretty nicely, but after the first night it became inconsistent. It held up well against the chilly night time temperatures. But once the temps in the room rose back up, so did the temp in the hatchery; easily getting past the no-go zone of 86F. So yeah, it kind of works, but you have to watch it and unplug or remove it periodically, which should not be the case with aquarium heaters this day in age. I need something that I can leave unattended when I'm at work and this does not meet my needs.

This heater is perfect for my 1.5 liter brine shrimp hatchery. Stays consistent at 76-78 degrees.
