This is 3D printed but because it is so thick it is sturdy. The blade is changeable so you can quickly change it out when it becomes dull and continue to strip down boxes. It is easy on the hand and so super quick. The uniform size of the strips makes it easy to stick together for your cat’s enjoyment. But to be honest I think the strips would be good for other projects too, like gardening and crafts.

This tool if def aust have but wish you had the option to change the position of the razor/direction of the cut. It seems like a left handed person's tool. I've still managed to make it work, it's awesome

We go through cat-scratching things, so when I saw this, I knew that I had to try it out.Now, we can make use of the boxes that we seem to accumulate from ordering things. This cuts the cardboard down to even-sized strips that you can use to make your cats a new scratching box when they need one. The blade is protected by the plastic shell, so I don't worry about cutting myself with it. The shell is a good sturdy plastic that should not break easily with normal usage. The blade is thin like a regular utility blade, so too much force on that and it may break.I do recommend that you try to stick with cardboard that has straight flat edges, as bent or crushed edges are harder to push through the blade and could result in the blade breaking. This hasn't happened to me, but I can see the potential for it to happen.

The blade gets dull quickly. Use only good quality cardboard for better cuts.
