Bought 11/15/2024 its now 02/24/2025 and the part that attaches to the adjustable stand to hold the mic is completely stripped. I've done nothing but adjust it as normally, haven't even screwed it on or off yet somehow its warped, stripped, and no longer functional. 3 months for a product to go kaput from minimal use is a travesty. I don't recommend.UPDATE: contacted customer service and it turns out Amazon shipped it with a missing piece. This company's customer service was exceptional and very quick/responsive. They are sending me the part I need and I will be updating my review again when the part comes on the overall quality of the mic stand :)****NEW ITEM RECEIVED: Works great, replacement came with a part that was originally missing but now feels sturdier than ever, definitely recommend, customer service was great and fast/efficient

I spent a fair amount of time trying to research which microphone stand to get and i am glad i got this one. It supports my audio technica condenser mic very well. Before, i had a boom mic stand that had 3 legs on the floor and it was always prone to tipping over and I was always having to negotiate around it with my rolling chair and cables. This gooseneck mic clamps on to my desk and is waaaay more convenient. The metal seems high quality. I am looking forward to the convenience of this set up for recording. The 19 inches seems just right as far as length goes from a sitting position in a chair.

Attaches to just about any kind of desk as tightly and firmly as you want to crank it down, all the way to the point of literally bending the plastic on some lighter desks if not careful. Most parts are metal and everything really stays where you left it.The only knock is the microphone attachment portion really isn't of the same quality as everything else, but is workable with most microphones, and easy to address.

Sturdy enough, but not ok with the flexibility and very limited movement. FOr me, i wanted a compact, stationary mic support, and it serves purpose. If mobility and flexibility is what you are looking for, better go for a boom arm.

It's sturdy enough to hold my Elgato Wave:1 mic which isn't a heavy mic but I've had issues with other mic arms having the opposite issue because it's so light it's hard to hold the mic in place. I was worried about the length but it's the perfect length to place the microphone without being in the way of the monitors and the neck is thin enough to not block the second monitor on my right at all. I can fully adjust it so that it's both near my mouth and out of the view of the camera for streams and Zoom calls.I was prepared to spend close to $200 for a low-profile mic arm to keep it out the way and on a whim I went with this gooseneck even though it wasn't the length I wanted (I'm thankful the longer arm was out of stock) and it worked nearly perfect, I was legitimately shocked with how well it is for my setup. I haven't tested it with anything heavier than the Wave:1 mic, but I'm confident it would hold something heavier because of how sturdy it feels.I do wish it had a better method of attaching to the desk clamp because of how easily it starts to unscrew with the slightest turn counterclockwise anywhere on the gooseneck. If the gooseneck arm was on a swivel to allow you to better move the arm without unscrewing it from the base it would be the perfect mic arm for me. Maybe even a locking quick release mechanism instead of a standard screw on method. I paid $23 for this and would gladly pay another $10 if it had a better attachment method.
